A Kinsmen Brewing proposal in Milldale, CT
I am so excited to be able to share this wonderful Kinsmen Brewing proposal in Milldale! Next to weddings, proposals are my favorite event to photograph!! There is so much raw and true emotion with proposals, and it is always my honor to capture those emotions and memories forever.
One of my favorite parts, planning! I absolutely adore being able to help surprise someone’s one true love. I am able to help plan where, how and when! It feels amazing to be a part of someone’s love story. It is a huge responsibility and one that I do not take lightly. I want to make sure it is a day neither will forget.
When Joe first reached out, he already had the when and the where picked out! So when we were talking, we decided to meet the week before the proposal to discuss exactly where. We walked a trail by the Kinsmen Brewing Company to find the perfect location for him to propose. We found a spot off the trail and walked through the process. After this discussion we parted ways with a, “see you next week!”
Joe invited both of their families to come to lunch to celebrate their engagement, after the photos!nI decided to go inside the brewery and look at lighting and possible locations for family photos inside, and I ran into Joe again! It is then we decided, the PERFECT spot was not the one we found before! The perfect spot was in front of the brewery! With the brewery’s facade, the green door and beautiful shrubbery, we both knew it would look beautiful for a proposal!
It’s proposal day!
The day was finally here! I met with Joe in the afternoon to go through everything one more time. I even helped hold the perfect spot in the brewery for their families to meet. Joe was so sweet and even brought some flowers to decorate the tables.
When Joe arrived with Heather, it was indeed pouring out! But that didn’t stop Joe from bringing Heather over to our designated spot. Joe got out the ring and got down on one knee. And indeed, Heather was so surprised!! Of course she said, “yes!”
After congratulating them and offering my clear umbrellas, we quickly took some “just engaged” photos. We then went into the brewery where Heather’s second surprise was waiting for her. Their families! Their family started to shout and applaud, causing the entire room to clap for the happy couple! There was much rejoicing and lots of hugs. It was so sweet to be able to capture these moments for Joe and Heather.
So much congrats to this wonderful couple!
