A Harkness Memorial State Park Maternity Session

One of my favorite types of sessions to photograph are maternity sessions. I love being able to capture those moments between parents before their little one comes into the world. I mean, how precious is this Harkness Park maternity session?

Brooklyn and Dylan are such a wonderful couple to be around. I first met them for the anniversary session and we quickly became friends! When I found out thy were expecting their first little one, I was overjoyed! And I was honored when they asked me to photograph their maternity session.

It was wonderful wandering the grounds of Harkness Memorial State Park again! And even better, having friends with you! Even tho it was a chilly March day, you would have never been able to tell. Brooklyn was such a trooper during the session, especially in her dresses! I told both of them to tell me when they were getting cold, so we could take a break. They never would tell me! I would have to hand their jackets to them because I felt bad they were so cold.

As you will see, Brooklyn and Dylan brought along their sweet little pup Jack! It is always an exciting and fun time when I get to include my couple’s fur babies in their photos! Jack was so excited to be out and about, smelling everything he could. He was such a good boy during his photos! He would look at the camera, as if to pose! Having Jack made this Harkness Park maternity session even more exciting and filled with love.

I cannot wait to meet their precious little baby boy in a few weeks!
