A Beautiful Elizabeth Park Engagement

Erica & Bradley’s engagement session at the beautiful Elizabeth Park was a wonderful day, despite the chilly March air. These two were such troopers through their session. You would never know we were shivering!

Let me back track on their love story.

Fate literally brought these two wonderful people together. In words from Erica, “we went to high school together but never clicked”. Who would think that years later that fate had other plans in mind?

In the fall of 2018, Erica and her friends were disappointed that the bar they planned on going to had their water line break! Their plans were shot! They decided to walk to the only other bar around. And you guessed it, bumped into Bradley with his friends! Fun fact, Bradley was dragged out with his friends that night. He planned on staying home that evening! As the night when on the two were inseparable! A little over a year later and the two decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

They like to think it was part of a bigger plan that they both HAD to go out, Erica HAD to go to THAT bar, Bradley HAD no choice to go to THAT bar, Brad HAD to come say “hi” because his friends did first, and Erica just HAD to give Brad her number at the end of the night. If this love story isn’t destined with fate, then I don’t know what is!

Anyway back to their engagement session!

For a beautiful Elizabeth Park engagement, our session began with plenty of “ooohs” and “aaaws”! They brought their puppy, Macie, to the session! Did I mention I LOVE dogs, but especially when they are young pups. There were so many snuggles and puppy kisses. But as all young animals, Macie was just in wonder of everything around her, especially the geese!

Right away we were all laughing and talking as if we were old friends. It was amazing how comfortable we felt around each other. I can’t wait for their wedding day! It’ll be like we are the best of friends.

They are both fun, compassionate and kind. It’s exciting to think of all that they will do together as a team! I hope you enjoy my favorite images below! And as you scroll through these, imagine being in front of a camera in freezing temperatures and trying to look natural while you’re actually freezing!

Just look at that sweet puppy face!!!! Just melts my heart. Why are dogs the BEST?!
