A wedding day journey with a steam train ride from Essex Steam Train Museum.
Reflecting on Annie and Cary’s wedding day, I’m reminded of so many joyful and loving moments that filled the air. One memory that stands out was their brilliant choice of transportation between venues. They arranged for a steam train to take them and their wedding guests from the Essex Steam Train Museum to the Lace Factory.
This unique touch added an unforgettable charm to their special day. The vintage steam train ride created a nostalgic and enchanting atmosphere, evoking a sense of timeless romance. As the train chugged along the scenic route, it was impossible not to be captivated by the magic of the moment. It was a delightful experience that perfectly matched the love and joy radiating from Annie and Cary.
Adding to the charm of their day were the heirloom shoe buckles both Annie and Cary wore. These were no ordinary buckles—they belonged to William Dawes, who rode with Paul Revere to announce the British were coming. This historical heirloom is the most unique item I have ever photographed and held from my couples. Annie wore her buckles on the back of her dress, while Cary incorporated his into his boutonniere.
The florals from Jakkelyn Iris Flowers at the Lace Factory added another layer of enchantment to the wedding day. It felt as if we had stepped into a secret garden, surrounded by brightly colored flowers, tulips, moss, and so much more. The vibrant florals created a whimsical and romantic setting, enhancing the beauty of the venue and making the celebration feel like a fairytale.
Annie and Cary’s wedding day was not just an event but an extraordinary experience.
