A fun and colorful September wedding, over looking the water at The Glastonbury Boathouse in Glastonbury, CT.

This wedding was the perfect start to the fall season! The weather cooperated, when we needed it to, the bride and groom were just simply amazing, the families were so kind and the fun times never stopped!

Tarah and Chris really had a lucky day when it came to the weather. In the morning, we all made the executive decision to move the wedding ceremony to the deck of the Glastonbury Boathouse. And honestly, it was beautiful. It drizzled for a bit during the ceremony and as soon as they shared their first kit, the rain cleared and we had perfect lighting for their portraits!!

Now I just had to mention this…(I will be posting about this in further detail some day soon but) I have to give credit to Tarah! When I walked into the room I was given a tote box with ALL of her details!! I was shocked and delighted! It makes the day run even smoother, especially when the ladies are running around getting ready in the morning. It was amazing that all of her details (invitations, all jewelry, shoes, perfumes, personalized hanger and even extra fabric were in the tote! This way no one had to hunt down everything and nothing was missed when being photographed! SO thank you Tarah for being so organized!

When I mentioned before that the fun times never stopped…I mean the fun times NEVER stopped! Especially during the reception. The speech given by Tarah’s sisters was so unique and entertaining. After a few words from each sister, it ended in a rap! A rap about Chris and Tarah’s love story. I think more weddings need this! During the reception, the DJ have the reins to both Chris and Tarah! They had a BLAST! It truly added to fun and joy during the reception.
