Morgan and Spencer’s engagement session at Yale in New Haven was a romantic celebration of their love story. The couple is planning a heartfelt and intimate wedding at Hartford City Hall with only their closest loved ones. They especially that knew they wanted their engagement photos to reflect the same architectural beauty and emotional depth as their wedding venue. Yale was an easy and perfect choice. From the stone walkways to the historic facades, every setting was picture perfect.

Even though the weather was cold, Morgan and Spencer were absolute naturals. They kept each other close and smiling, and you would have never known how chilly it truly was. Their joy was infectious, and their love brought so much light to the session.

As we walked through campus, I had the pleasure of learning more about their love story. They had crossed paths during their years at UConn, but it wasn’t until after college that their romantic connection began. Spencer said he felt it right away, like they had always known each other. Morgan admitted she felt it too not long after their first dates. She was drawn in by Spencer’s sense of humor, his kind heart, and how much he values family.

We also talked about their sweet golden doodle, Remi (who, I must say, I was secretly hoping would make a surprise appearance). Remi may not have been there in person, but his name came up often with so much love and laughter. From everything I’ve heard, he’s a little bundle of fluff and joy. I think he would have totally stolen the show…

Spencer proposed to Morgan at Horsebarn Hill overlooking their alma mater, a moment filled with love and meaning. They also celebrated that evening with their families, marking the start of this beautiful chapter.
